One of the things that we LOVE to do most is to customize a menu so that it reflects and celebrates all the ways that our clients are unique. Deirdre and Yufeng are such a fun and unique couple, their ideas are sure to inspire you to come up with your own creative ideas! Here we have a mix of Deirdre's Southern roots and Yufeng's Asian roots, mixed together with a little bit of traditional, a little bit of sparkle, and a little bit of urban. Don't you just love the wedding lion dance?!!
Guests were treated to cocktail hour at the beautiful Patrick Henry Hotel with passed Korean BBQ steamed buns with pickled shitake mushrooms, Southern fried chicken and maple donut bites, pear and goat cheese crostinis, and scallops with corn and andouille sausage and Swiss chard sauce on Asian spoons. The bar featured a his and hers signature cocktail, his a mojito and hers a strawberry basil gin concoction!
Dinner was served family style and featured our vintage china. Salad was a plated roasted tomato, baby greens, and goat cheese finished with a balsamic drizzle. Dinner was a maple salmon soy with toasted hazelnut and carrot pesto, smoked beef brisket and sauces, mac and cheese, green bean amandine, rosemary and garlic roasted fingerling potatoes, and stir fried bok choy.
