This autumn wedding is bursting at the seams with beautiful touches, mostly handcrafted by the bride herself. The picturesque estate was the perfect backdrop for their Gatsby inspired details. The rain made an appearance but guests didn't care, they all surrounded the couple with love. Cocktail hour included our fried pimento cheese puffs with a fiery tomato salsa and passed mango shrimp lollipops. The dinner was set up stations style and featured a "trio of dips" station of spinach and artichoke, white bean hummus, and sweet chipotle corn dip. Also offered was a slider station of sirloin, pulled pork, and seasoned crab cake with frites and a kebab station with chicken marinated in a Peruvian blend with sauces such as chimichurri, cucumber yogurt, and a spicy mustard blend. The night ended with a flaming donut hole station with donut holes simmered in rum, butter, and brown sugar, then topped with vanilla cream. Happiness is donuts!
